The University of Adelaide's Environment Institute champions the development of innovative and real-world solutions to significant environmental conservation challenges. Central to the Institute's ethos is a dedication to developing solutions in partnership with practitioners and policy advocates.

This prize recognises the development of application-ready research or the successful application of science and research into real-world conservation outcomes.

AWARD CRITERIA

The Prize is awarded to a leader in applied conservation research and/or the application of evidence-based approaches to achieve conservation outcomes. Nominees will have implemented an interdisciplinary approach or have a demonstrated partner delivery base with a broad range of stakeholders and a focus on:

  • Significance
  • Long term impact
  • Evidence base
  • Adoption (on ground, policy, commercialisation)
  • Partnerships
