Conservation SA is the voice for the environment in South Australia.

For 50 years, Conservation SA has been committed to protecting, restoring and conserving South Australia's natural environment and advocating for a more sustainable future for our state.

Conservation SA has led SA's environment awards for the past 25 years after establishing the Jill Hudson Award for Environmental Protection in 1998. Since then, the event has grown from one category to seven in 2023, with support from partner organisations and event sponsors.

The SA Environment Awards is proudly presented by the Conservation Council of South Australia.

Green Adelaide is creating a cooler, greener, wilder and more climate-resilient city that celebrates our unique culture.

Adelaide’s first dedicated urban environmental specialist organisation, Green Adelaide focuses on guiding the people of Adelaide’s love of and connection with nature, and will practically create a cooler, greener and wilder capital city.

Core partners Green Adelaide established the Pelzer Prize in 2021 to honour South Australia's green heroes, conservation leaders and champions of the environment. The annual award is named for Adelaide’s first city gardener – August Wilhelm Pelzer.

Green Adelaide's Pelzer Prize became part of the SA Environment Awards in 2022.

The Department for Environment and Water aims to help South Australians conserve, sustain and prosper.

Their work is critical to South Australia’s future social, environmental and economic prosperity. The way we manage, conserve, and sustain our environment and cultural resources is vital for the wellbeing of all South Australians.

A key event sponsor since 2018, the Department joined the SA Environment Awards as a core partner in 2022.

The Environment Institute is leading environmental change throughout the world.

They connect leading water, climate scientists and researchers with international collaborators and external stakeholders to address complex environmental problems and export innovation to the world.

Partnering with the Awards since 2023, the Environment Institute brings scientific expertise to our judging panel and core partner team.
